EXPERIENCE
Tara Anand Cowles, our Founder & Director, is the vision behind ARTISTS WITHIN & AW03. She leads our team & academy with 30+ years of makeup artistry experience, having worked for major photoshoots, magazines & runway shows based in Europe.
At Artists Within Makeup Academy we teach you what you really need to know to be the best - what others don't. Often imitated, but never duplicated.

Tara’s in-depth international experience has enabled her to develop these programs from the ground up. With attention being given to the smallest of details, our programs aim to make you confident & industry-ready.
Beginning as a vision, Artists Within Makeup Academy has been an accredited in-person makeup school since 2003. We are the only makeup artist academy to offer fully accredited recognized diploma programs in the province, as well as international ITEC approval, and government sponsored student loan assistance.
