RECLAIM YOUR GLOW
WHY YOUR OLD MAKEUP ROUTINE STOPPED WORKING
I hit a point where my makeup stopped behaving the way it used to.
Not in a dramatic way. More like a slow, annoying shift that made me second-guess everything.
The same foundation that used to look smooth started catching on texture. Concealer looked heavier. Powder made me look dry and tired. Eye makeup that I could do in my sleep suddenly felt like it was dragging my face down.

WHAT I DISCOVERED
For a while, I did what most of us do.
I tried different products.
I kept thinking I just had not found the right thing yet.
But what I started noticing was this: it was not about finding a miracle product. It was about changing the approach.

THE MOST COMMON MISTAKES I SEE
What I have found is that over 40, makeup is less about coverage and more about placement.
Less about perfection and more about light.
When you build the skin the way you did in your 20s or 30s, it often shows up looking heavier and overdone.
When you try to “fix” things with more layers, it usually makes everything look more obvious.

THE SHIFT
The biggest shift for me was learning to stop applying to my whole face and start treating makeup like strategy.
I began focusing on a few key areas that make the entire face look fresher, without piling product everywhere.
Here are the changes that made the biggest difference.

I STOPPED CHASING THE COVERAGE
I used to think more coverage meant more polished. What actually happens is that full coverage can sit on the skin and highlight texture.
I STARTED USING GLOW LIKE STRUCTURE
People talk about glow like it is a trend, but what I have found is that the right glow creates lift. Not shimmer everywhere, not greasy skin, just a controlled, intentional glow.
I GOT PICKY ABOUT POWDER
Powder is not the enemy. A little powder only where needed sets your makeup, while keeping the rest fresh, looking like skin not heavy powder.
I CHANGED THE WAY I DID MY EYES
The same eye placement I used for years started making my eyes look smaller and heavier. What works now is softer edges, slightly lifted placement, and more intention with where I place the depth.
I SIMPLIFIED COLOR DECISIONS
I found that when I keep one feature as the focus, everything looks more modern and updated. I also lean into color choices that enhance my eye color and skin tone instead of fighting them.

THE REAL TAKEAWAY
Mature makeup is not about doing more. It is about doing smarter.
I built my Reclaim Your Glow course because I kept having the same conversation with women over and over.
They were not trying to look younger.
They just wanted to recognize themselves again.
They wanted their makeup to stop aging them.
They wanted to get ready without feeling like it was a full-time job.

THE PATH
If you are in that “why does nothing look right anymore” season, I get it. I have been there. What I teach inside Reclaim Your Glow is the exact method I use now. The shifts that make the biggest impact, without turning your bathroom into a Sephora.
If you want to explore it, all the techniques are here for you.
No pressure.
Just a path that makes this whole thing feel simple again.
See you on the inside.
