From breathtaking gowns to the striking out of this world creations.
When it comes to couture there are just a few of our top favourite looks that graced this years runway.
A show so beautiful that it moved Celine Dion and many others in attendance to tears. Not many runway collections can claim that. Pierpaolo Piccioli took 'Florals for Spring' to a new level for Valentino Couture, and is showing no signs of slowing down! This collection was all about magical, fairytale fashion, tiered gowns and intricate embroidery.
After a 16 year hiatus from the Couture world, Olivier Rousteing brought Balmain back with a vengeance, using the sexy aesthetic Balmain has become known for, but amping it up more to an aspirational look with Couture clients in mind. Feathers, tule, pearls, beading and oversized taffeta come strutting down the runway in an impressive fashion.
The latest Haute Couture collection Armani was inspired by the glamours Jazz Age, resulting in flapper hats, fringing galore and plenty of Art Deco touches. Vibrant bolts of blues, reds and purples appeared throughout the runway. This definitely put a fun spin on the always so elegant Armani.
Viktor & Rold's playful SS19 Couture collection was inspired by the plentiful Instagram captions and slogans. All phrases were sewn onto the prettiest of dresses. A comment on the internet yes, but such a clever move to get the collection seen everywhere!
