91st Academy Awards

Last night the 91st Academy Awards were held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. This was the first time in Oscar history there was no host for the show. This gave artists a chance to perform live and winners to speak a bit longer then normal. Opening the show was Adam Lambert and Queen as they shock the Dolby theatre with "We Will Rock You" They then closed their opening number with "We Are the Champions," literally no one was sitting down!

No surprise the big winner of the evening was non other then Bohemian Rhapsody leading with four wins in Sound mixing, Sound editing, film editing and to top it of Rami Malek won for Actor in a leading role. Following in wins was Black Panther for Production Design and Music (original score) and Costume Design. As well as the Netflix original Roma winning for Cinematography, Directing and Foreign Language Film. The Green Book recieved two awards last night one for Writing and won the biggest award of the night for Best Picture! Lady Gaga made award season history by becoming the first person to have won an Oscar, Grammy, BAFTA and Golden Globe within a single year!
